Mark
I would like to set up a night light for my tank. I see on ebay those moonlight blue lights that look quite cool can we get them here. Some are LEDs and others look like a fluorescent tube. What are you guys using. My halides are on eight hours a day so when they are off the tank is quite dark. Any suggestions? ghostface
a couple or 3 blue leds and a powerpack would do the job nicely i rekon
suphew
jaycar sells a litle transformer thing that lets you plug in 8 water proof led lights but not a cheap option From memory $30 for the transformer and $15 for each light. I have (and i think most others) have blue fluros that run most of the day mine go on at 7:45am and off at 11pm my MH lights start early afternoon and run till 10ish
ghostface
i would like to have leds that go on when the actinics go off - tank looks cool with single leds going through water makes a really strong rippled-light effect. has anyone else shone a led torch in their tank from the top when the other lights are off? Mark
Yea i agree the blue lights are cool. On ebay they are selling LEDs that you can either mount in the water or shine down from the top. I think some guy has put these together at home. Not very expensive either just a long way away. England.
