evilknieval69
is it a mucky greeny slimey mess???lol. If it is then it is most probably cyanobacteria and it wont have gone with a complete strip down no... you will need erythomicin which is a prescription medicine Good Luck Rogan
Luke*
Some large water changes should help, but yeah if it's cyanobacteria treat as evil said.

Caryl
Cyano forms a dark or bright green mat you can pick up in quite large pieces. It indicates things are out of balance in your tank. Try keeping the lights off for a week. Feed the fish very lightly. Vacuum out as much of the cyano as possible. Plant lots of fast growing plants. last resort, use Erythromycin. This is a prescription only medicine though.

sharn
i would stop dosing with Flourish just for now. was reading somewhere the other day and a person with algae probs got told to stop using ferts as your just 'encouraging' it to grow by feeding it. you want your plants to use the flourish not the algae and it looks like its enjoying some extra help  and like caryl said, chuck in some super fast growing plants so they can try take the nutrients before the algae does note: sharn doesnt know much about algae so techincal terms are not used

JoandWilly
Sounds like just a general dark green algae, one of the more pain in the bum ones which needs to be scrapped off, we get ir on our slow growing plants and the bristlenose;s dont seem to be able to eat it, doesnt cause a problem and dont have a major with it but it's there in small amounts. Try going to plantgeek.com or cichlid-forum.com there are some good pages all about algae on there.
