trinity
Hey slappers Watch out as the fish may eat them aswell, I tend to feed them while the other fish are eating and sometimes at night while the fish are sleeping

Ira
I tried a plecochip in my tank. Fish didn't eat it... Now the bristleworms, they came out into the light and swarmed it!

Aquatopia
how about asking your LFS for an algae covered rock from their tanks on loan if you are prepared to risk it.

wasp
I'm with Pomereef on that, it took around 2 years before mine figured out how to eat fish food, and during that time I had to collect rocks for him from the beach that had algae. He used to get super skinny it was terrible, but when I put the rocks in he would chow down & get really fat. Pretty certain if I had not done that he would have died, came pretty close a few times. These days he is like your one Fay just settles for the fish food - easier  , given up eating cruddy old algae now! , and he's always looking pretty fat also. chimera
i haven't fed my CBB since i've had him (4 weeks now?) plenty of green algae in the fuge for him to eat. i'd try what pomereef says, "naturally grown algae" is what they eat.
