peanuts
very nice baby tank all you need now is a few more batches to fill it up you said it monaro1 so I took her round another couple of batches - it about doubled her population - so I think she needs to take a new photo for show and tell. Faran
Nice big setup! Only advice I have is to get rid of the HOB (hang on back) filter and get a sponge filter (two or a double for your size tank) so you don't lose any babies. Also, Java/Xmas fern is a MUST, great job getting some for your tank already.
smcoleman
hi i use a hang on in my baby tank but i have placed a sponge over the intake so babys dont get sucked up
Tanksman
Stockings work good over the intake too.
Pegasus
Stockings work good over the intake too. Yes they do... but by using a sponge you will have a prepared filter for when you move them on Bill.
Tsarmina
so I think she needs to take a new photo for show and tell. i will post another pic as soon as the water clears up. i put some sand in the bottom and it's starting to look good. i think its going to take a little while for the water to clear completely as the 2 CAE i have at the bottom keep shifting the sand around. they have already dug 2 burrows in the tank.
