Sparkypn
Is there much difference between the new 5 series Fluval filters and the 4 series, they look very similar?

Wok
Sorry can't help ya. have seen them both but I would go for the 04 series at the moment cause they would be on sale. From what I could see they are the same. I know Jansens here in Auckland are selling the 04 series at 50% off while stocks last. Better get in Fast. Jo1
I went to a product launch 2-3 months ago. The packaging has been improved (they raved on about that for ages)and checking out the catalogue, they say that the motor is sealed in epoxy resin that resists high temps. Larger magnetic coil provides increased power that results in improved priming and air evacuation. Also a self flushing impellor well helps keep impellor cool and free of debris. I think they also improved the intake strainer. The only one that looked really impressive was the new FX5 (1500l/h) which pumps 3,500 l/hour. But imo you can't beat an Eheim Classic!
