HelifaxNZ
Has anyone managed to grow their own Mysis in their sump? What other live foods can you grow yourself in the sump to feed your fish/inverts?

puttputt
Ditto, loads of all 3 in the sump and the refugium, not to mention the tank, but the manderin I just bought will reduce these I'm sure. The Mysid shrimp surprise me by the quantity. At night with a torch they are zooming all over the tank!!

HelifaxNZ
Did they just appear in your sump or can you actually buy some eggs then grow them? As you may have guessed, I'm interested in breeding them in my sump. I currently have copepods in the main tank, but none in the sump.
