Caryl
Are you asking about the actual species of fish, the fact they were bred outdoors, or fish from that particular supplier?
Warren
Most fish raised in outdoor ponds are very good. Their colours are very strong and the fish are big. I don't know what happens to the colurs once they are put into an indoor tank, but they are excellent to start with.
Jo
Yes I really wanted to know how the fish are when released into the aquarium. Do they react well to the change in conditions.
Joze
Are they a local supplier? If so I wouldnt mind having a look for an outdoor watergarden.
Caryl
I have not heard of them being a problem. Ones bred outside are bigger and often more colourful (possibly hardier too). Barbs and guppies are good to try outside yourself in summer. I have always meant to give rosy barbs a go. Perhaps next summer...
