puttputt
Happy new year everyone. Just got back from holiday to find a nice little infestation of Monti eating nudis covering all my montis. lost my green and almost lost the orange. Cap is covered and even my purple is being attacked. Read up on them and spoken with Layton, seems best thing to do is manually remove them, or remove all montis and let it go without them for over 6 months. Some sucess with wrasses and manderins, may be worth a go. Any thoughts?????? Shawn.
Brianemone
you might want to try dipping them in a bath of tank water with salifert flat worm exit, i had them back in the day when i treated for flat worms and they dissapeared at the same time
dogmatix
i tried that trick brian it didnt work, well it might of helped. I gave them a bath in F/exit and doubled the dose, then i gave them a fresh water bath adjusting the ph and temp for about 5 minutes this really seemed to help. i also used a small power head in both baths and tried to blast them off. ghostface
i think i had a similiar prob. looked like bleaching, starting from one spot, but there were tiny [=1mm] critters on the underside of the affected area. is this the same thing?
