Naomi Gunning
Hello I have just got home from work and i noticed that all of my fish have there heads at the top of the tank, its like they are trying to get more air. They have never done this before and I am puzzled to why they are doing it now. Does anyone have any suggestions to why this might be happening??? Pegasus
Next job... Check the temperature and make sure your heater has not stuck on. If everything looks ok there... then check that your filter is working and that it is actually filtering the water. Next... do at least a 20% water change and see if they respond as normal. If you have test kits.. check your levels for ammonia... Nitrite and Nitrate. Further water changes may be needed several times a week. HTH Bill. klaymann
fish at top of tank gasping = no oxygen in tank- cause , water too hot , no air pump , saturated pollutants , :-?
Bluetom
What sort of fish are they? They could just be fish that like the top level of the water, or there is something on the bottom scarying/chasing them to the top? ie the boogy monster or a aggressive fish
