usaco
Hi people, I have a 115 gallon marine tank and currently using 2 x 48" full spectrum & 2 x 48" actinic (blue) fluorescent lights. The height of the tank is approx 24". Is this lighting sufficient for a coral reef tank? Another thing, if I have 3 x full spectrum & 1 actinic lights, will this cause algae problems? misnoma
Are these T8 fluros (36W)? The wattage will be the telling factor, but it sounds a little low to me
ghostface
you will probably need to get metal halide lighting depending on what corals you want to keep.
reef
Shold be ok for mushrooms and low light corals. T5s or metal halide will do the trick
