dave Posted September 3, 2005 Report Share Posted September 3, 2005 The Waikato Aquarium Socitey is planning a weekend trip around the BOP region in October . Looking at the weekend of 15th & 16 or 22nd & 23rd of October. On the Saturday we are going to travel from Hamilton to Rotorua then though to Whakatane. We are going to spend the night at Awakeri hot pools in Whakatane . Then on the Sunday go though Tauranga then back to Hamilton . At this stage we are mainly looking at shops but i see this as an oppinunity to meet others that are interested in the hooby of fishkeeping. So basically what i am asking is Two things . Firstly any suggestions of places that are worth visting while we are in the area???? . Secondly as i said we are always keen to meet others interested in the hobby so if there are breeders or other fishy people in the bay of plenty area can we come for a vist .
