pearlyred
Just wondering, does anyone know of a list that contains all the different tank themes (is biotopes the right word here?) that are possible, along with a list of plants/fish found in each? Ie, an amazon tank, or an african tank etc. Or is it just a matter of finding one and then researching different fish till you come up with a list from the right place? cheers LS
Caryl
See if your library has a copy of The Complete Aquarium by Peter W Scott. It shows step by step how to set up a number of different biotopes complete with lists of correct fish and plants etc.
dee_jay_01
Hello The best tank theme is one that you think off, with mine I have a love of rivers and streams, so that where i have gotten my theme from. (The only fish that I have from an Australian River/Stream is the Salmon Tail Catfish which I bought from my LFS, the others, not sure what environment they are from). Not the Best Pic of the Salmon Tail But It's upto you, best place to start is think of what your favorite fish is and create the theme to match.
