Wok
when was the last time you did a water change? Have you tested the water lately for Amonia, Nitrites, pH?

Caryl
Without more details it is impossible to say what the problem is. Do the water tests suggested. Gouramis prefer a slow current.

Caryl
How long had the tank been set up and how many fish did you have in it? Filtration? pH? temp? ammonia readings? nitrate readings?

Then fish that survived the onslaught were my 2 fkying foxes, 3 longfinned danios and one molly. since then i have added 2 golden gouramis, 4 bristles-2 normal,2golden blackeyed, 2 horsefaced loach. but (touchwood) all will be good. Matt
Hi Sean, The tanks looking good, the only thing I would be wary of is 4 Bristlenose in that size tank. They produce a huge amount of waste for their size, and you will also have to make sure you are feeding them Pleco Chips or some other algae wafers as they won't get anywhere near enough food from Algae growth alone. Bristlenose also need wood in their diet so a piece of driftwood in your tank wouldn't go astray, if you are feeding Pleco Chips you might be alright as they have wood in them. If I was you I would distribute the bristlenose throughout your other tanks, say one per tank. Just trying to save you from having fish deaths in the future . Cheers, Matt
clarkeymaster
thanks for that but yeh i do feed them pleco chips daily. and i will be adding a piece of driftwood but havent found a nice peice yet. i respect your opinion on wat uv said about having too many in there, i no i could have a couple less but i love the critters and iv got at least two in all my main tanks. Any other suggestions would be greatly received.
