Other than that urm.... yeah... lots of filtration is good - I'm seriously considering a canister filter to go with the "on top" filter of my aqua one 5' tank that he's in. I would love to have a go at that. Ironside Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 Oscars are susceptible to hole in the head disease so you must keep the water in good condition. This means regular water changes. The smaller the tank you have, the quicker the water will become polluted. This will result in new having to carry out a lot more maintenance on the tank.
