Benjansss
On of the front corners of my tank stand is a little swollen the back and the other side of it are completely fine doesn't this look like particuly bad the wood isn't spongy at all but is a little softer then the rest its only the outer black part that seems to have swollen a lot but would like some other opinions
Adrienne
Are you wanting to know if it is still safe to use? You will need to poke it (try a thin sharp screwdriver) and establish how soft it has become. Water causes the mdf to swell when it gets into the 'wood'. It begins to soften and rot. Ira
It's probably safe to use for now. But time to start saving for a new stand.
