Rodica
Hi EveryoneI am having an indoor Reptile enclosure made, it's going to be made of untreated pine, but the person making it wants to put polyurethane on the inside and outside to keep it in good shape from any water spillage or moisture. I am trying to find out what alternative could be used, that is non toxic and petsafe. Have done plenty of research but only find items that are used in the Uk and when I google them to see if they are in NZ, they don't appear to be in NZ. So I need to have some suggestions what could be used instead of polyurethane. Remembering that a heat lamp will also be on in the enclosure plus a UV light. Please let me know asap, as the Maker of the enclosure wants to do the sealing tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
livingart
I have used the water based urethane on all my enclosures, about 3 coats
