Jordy
Hi allIm back again under a new name (I had trouble converting to the new system blah blah)So my female leopard gecko is around 1 year old now, weighs around 63 grams and has a nice healthy tail but has started to act a bit weird. My flat mate and I left for a bit of an adventure for 13 days, so I left my gecko at a family members house (only a 10 minute drive) where she was looked after well I'm sure. Then I came back, collected her and got her settled back into my room again. Now, a week later she is still trying to climb out of her tank. The tank is 60 x 30 x 30 (LWH) and has a moist hide, a warm hide area and a cool hide. All the temperatures are good and she gets fed as she has for the past year. Also 3 of the tank walls are covered so she cant see through them. She will try to escape day and night so it shouldn't be about the lightingI am a little worried that the tank might be too small for her as she keeps trying to climb out. I got her being told that the tank was a good size for one gecko but im not sure if I can realistically upgrade to a bigger tank due to space and money. She eats, poops and sheds her skin regularly and is happy enough to be picked up and walk around on my arms etc. Is the escape effort something to be concerned about or not?If it is, I think I may have to sell her, which would be a great shame. Thanks for your help in advance
