  1. I have plenty of food and all the calcium and vitamin supplements that she needs. Dont worry I was not offended but like I said I would like a bit more than $250 if I can. There is a little bit of interest at the moment so if that all falls through I might have to let you know.
  2. Hey Possum, She is still available, how much would you be wanting to spent on her? From my perspective $300 is already really cheap as there have been some on trademe recently for around $400-500
  3. Just thought I would give this a quick bump in the new years for anyone wanting to buy a pet for the coming year with some xmas money
  4. Hi again all, I would really like to sell my gecko soon so I am lowering the price for the whole thing to $300 or near. She could make an awesome early Christmas present for a loved one.
  5. Hi Peet, Sounds great. I am sure that we can sort something out
  6. Ok, as I need to part with her soon, I am open to lower price offers and would be willing to sell her without the set up for a good offer. I can drop off anywhere from Hamilton to Rotorua and a short drive around they way as well (morrinsville, matamata etc.)
  7. Hey all, I sadly have to part with my leopard gecko (Jessie) as I will be moving around a bunch and wont be able to look after her properly. She is calm and happy to be handled (she will climb on my hand if I put it in her tank). She is just about one year old now, weighs 65 grams and is healthy in every way I can research. She has never dropped her tail and continues to shed her skin regularly and easily. The tank setup that is included is a brand new reptaprobe thermostat, a hand made clay "cave", some rocks, a watering tower, dual thermometer probe, the tank its self (60*30*30) and a heating pad. I also have some meal worms, vitamin powder and calcium powder. This is everything you need for a happy, healthy gecko. Leopard geckos are ideal pets for people who dont want something high maintenance but is more interactive than other small pets (like fish etc.). Leopard geckos are generally nocturnal, however, they become diurnal when their environment is controlled in the domestic way. As such they require no UV lighting, instead getting vitamin D from their food (supplemented by the food supplements included). They also require "belly heat" to digest their food (given by the under tank heater). Jessie loves to be picked up and have a wander around my arms, to the point where all I have to do is put my hand flat in the tank and she climbs right on. I cant really ship due to the cost and stresses involved for Jessie so pick up from Hamilton or Rotorua. I am a bit of a wuss and would really like her to go to a good home where she will be looked after. This ideally means no small children tapping on the glass or trying to pat her. They are very sturdy animals but can be easily stressed. Ideally I would look for around $350 but am open to all offers. I will consider selling her by herself but would prefer to sell as a lot. Please PM me if you are interested. Photos of her are below. Thanks, Jordy
  8. Hi all Im back again under a new name (I had trouble converting to the new system blah blah) So my female leopard gecko is around 1 year old now, weighs around 63 grams and has a nice healthy tail but has started to act a bit weird. My flat mate and I left for a bit of an adventure for 13 days, so I left my gecko at a family members house (only a 10 minute drive) where she was looked after well I'm sure. Then I came back, collected her and got her settled back into my room again. Now, a week later she is still trying to climb out of her tank. The tank is 60 x 30 x 30 (LWH) and has a moist hide, a warm hide area and a cool hide. All the temperatures are good and she gets fed as she has for the past year. Also 3 of the tank walls are covered so she cant see through them. She will try to escape day and night so it shouldn't be about the lighting I am a little worried that the tank might be too small for her as she keeps trying to climb out. I got her being told that the tank was a good size for one gecko but im not sure if I can realistically upgrade to a bigger tank due to space and money. She eats, poops and sheds her skin regularly and is happy enough to be picked up and walk around on my arms etc. Is the escape effort something to be concerned about or not? If it is, I think I may have to sell her, which would be a great shame. Thanks for your help in advance
