Ira
Hi I have a large outside fish pond 9mtrs by 3.5mtrs it is getting overloaded with oxygen plant what is the best and easiest way of controlling this or getting ride of it all together thank you Wade in, yank it out. That small of a pond other controls like grass carp probably aren't going to be worth it. Maybe draining it and then cleaning it out thoroughly depending on the construction might work. Caryl
Haul it out and add to the compost. If you get rid of it all at once you will probably end up with a major crash in the pond with it going green as the nutrient balance will be upset by such a sudden change. Just trim it as you would any plant.
