Silverdollarboy2
While I was in Rotorua I went to Wonderworld pet centre and bought two Geophagus steindachneri to go in my 350 litre tank and eventually into the 680 litre. hovmoller
Excellent! Do you have a nice and sandy substrate for them to sift through? I'm sure you will see her holding eggs sometime soon but watch that he doesn't get to rough on her since it is only her to take any of his aggression. Silverdollarboy2
I don't have sand in the 350lt but I will in the 680 litre. I have noticed them trying to pick up rocks.
David R
Ugliest Geo species ever, but still cool!! Sand is a must IMO. Watch with the gravel, if it's too big they won't bother, but if it is on the smaller size it could potentially be a choking hazard. You don't get to watch their interesting feeding behaviour without sand.
