I have seen in some stores that it sells for around $17/kg, but i think I could get it for a lot cheaper privately. Any price suggestions or recommendations is appreciated, thanks! Cost and availability of dry rock varies greatly in different parts of NZ so anywhere between $10-20/kg is pretty normal. It's usually cheaper to buy a lot of someone who has closed down a tank and are looking to move it off at a discounted price. Also, how much are you after?
