Addie
Hi Everyone, I'm new on the forum and also soon to be a first time blue tongue lizard owner. I have been told that a suitable substrate for keeping blue tongues is paper kitty litter (it was emphasised to me that it must be the paper one). I have never seen it listed anywhere as a possible substrate, what does everyone think? Thanks Addie

Insect Direct
Hi there Addie. I have seen some on pelletised substrates as of late .. don't like the idea of it myself.. Aspen or bark seems common and or just artificial turf. However with turf I do think it's best to also put aspen in the hide as they love to burrow into it. Addie
Thanks for the replies. Thanks Livingart - I have read that link already. I have read a lot of care sheets etc, I have to say that I found that to be one of the best - easy to understand and containing lots of info without being too wordy.
