junglejim
Hi, I have been cycling for about 4 weeks now and the amonia is at the bottom of the scale but the nitrates are at the top of the scale. Is this normal? Thanks
Godly3vil
Yip, time for a water change to bring them back down.
HarrysHerps
Marine tanks can take a long time to finish cycling, it is normal for your nitrites to be high after your ammonia has dropped. A water change will help a bit but patience is the key
Ira
Hi, I have been cycling for about 4 weeks now and the amonia is at the bottom of the scale but the nitrates are at the top of the scale. Is this normal? Thanks Nitrates or nitrites? This is an important detail. :sage: Nitrates means you need to do water changes. Nitrites means you're not finished cycling.
