Mudguard
Any recommendations? I probably need a 250 watt heater, and the power of the filter will depend on the type? Animates has a "special" on an Eheim 2213 filter at the moment. It looks like its an external filter suitable for tanks up to 250 litres. Would that be a good one to get? hovmoller
You wouldn't need more that a 200W heater on a tank that size unless you have the tank in a very very cold room. The Eheim 2213 would be absolutely perfect for your tank. A bit on the large size but that's a good thing. Just be careful not to create too much flow in the way you install the inlet. 2nd hand one for sale here: http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=67029
Adrienne
Eheims are very good and I rate the 2213 highly. It would suit your tank well.
