cichlidman2010
I'm in the planning stages of a small saltwater tank and want to know whether perc clowns are known for jumping out of lidless tanks? The tank I have had built is also rimless. Any advice is much appreciated
Godly3vil
They sure are, pretty much all fish have a chance of jumping out of a tank if something spooks them or they're not happy with something etc. You can make a mesh screen to cover the tank if you're that worried about it which won't effect the rimless look much. Saying that though, even in a tank with a lid there have been stories of clowns still jumping through the smallest gaps.

marinefish4life
most cases they wont jump if they are happy, something has to be disturbing them to make them jump imo
