Morcs
Possible to use? Decent amounts of macros as well as trace elements. There isn't any good combined commercial npk frets for aquariums available really. Figuring out dosing would be difficult initially. Thoughts? Adrienne
Liquid? Do you know whats in it? I am going to say fish meal will be one ingredient.
Morcs
Sea kelp according to the bottle. Its Watkins Bounty npk liquid fert. 10% n, 3% p and 7% k plus traces I thought was pretty decent. With seachem you have to buy 4 products to get that... I might setup another tank and test it... edit. done some calculations. If i dosed say 4ml in my 55L, that would give: N - 8ppm P - 2ppm K - 5ppm Which isnt too bad... i could try half dose to start to be safe. Be interesting to hear what other plant buffs have to say
DylanH
did you try it? I would be worried about what effect it would have on fish :-?
JaSa
I only use a self-made chelated iron solution which keeps me busy weeding out every week so I'm not an expert but TM "500ml Plant Fertilizer refill" looks pretty good to me if you want the whole package... Cheers, JaSa
alanmin4304
No ferts are much use without the CO2 and light to go with it unless you only use very small amounts.
