Gill
Any ideas as to what could cause all of my crypts to melt .As far as I can tell the only thing that has changed is the addition of some CO2 from a DIY yeast mixture. I have now removed this . Second question if I leave the roots in, are they likely to re grow . Thanks Gill
Adrienne
Crypts often melt, sometimes for no reason at all. Yes, leave them there and they will regrow, sometimes it takes months, sometimes a few days till they start but they will come back. I've lost half the plants in my tank including crypts in the last week due to having to medicate the tank. I will be waiting for them to regrow as well. Li@m
Half of my crypts just melted for no reason even after they had produced new leaves (planted a couple weeks before the melt.).
Morcs
Change in anything will do it. Sometimes quite delayed reaction too.
alanmin4304
Try to remove the dead leaves so their rotting does not cause other problems.
