BikBok
Hi all My daughter is shutting down her bedroom tank and is going to sell this young pleco. Can't remember what type it is but sure it's a gold or red spot. Can anybody help me pout with the correct name.. and if you can tell if its male or female even better! Thanks!! What would be a reasonable price to ask?

Rabbit
its a gold spot (Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus) , the "red spot" has black spots, with a gold background (Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps)

blueether
That's interesting as I brought this as a redspot. It's in with the natives atm at 20 deg and seems to be doing ok

But looks like yours is different than my redspot, but does appear to share similar patterning though much blurrier that could be the pic/fish's mood. Very nice dorsal fin on it.
