SanityChelle
Hey, has anyone here bought from waterplantz on TradeMe? Or better yet, is waterplantz on here? I'm curious about their $10 plant pack deals, but since they really don't seem to want to say what plants they will be sending, it feels a little odd to me. They have really good feedback on their auctions, but none of it says what plants they are selling.
alanmin4304
The plants will be a selection of what they have available and many will be grown emersed. I have bought many plants from him and never had a problem.
camtang
A mate got some from him and had no issues with anything. As mentioned before a lot were grown emersed.
SanityChelle
Okay, cool. What kind of plants did you get?
kiwi101
We started with the $10 deal, will likely get another lot. Was a huge variety and were all in great, healthy condition. Was the best way to get variety and to try out plants to find out what we liked
Guest
ive bought from him.. the 30 stems for ten bucks... they were pretty varied.. hes pretty awesome though he puts in a list of what you have... and normally you get more then 30.. the stems are however fairly small.. like 5cm... so you need to be prepared for them to grow.. but i thought it was a good buy then topped up his stems with some bigger ones also! Exotic Aquatics
iv brought off him both tropical & cold packs, good guy to deal with & had no problems with the plants he usually throws a few more in to.
SanityChelle
That all sounds awesome, but does anyone remember some of the types of plants you got?

SanityChelle
Oh cool! There's some rather nice plants in that list. I don't mind if they're small, I don't have too much space anyway. Though, my partner has started making noises about getting a tank for himself, so a pack or so might be a good option. alanmin4304
Quite often you can increase the chances of a safe conversion to submersed growth with emersed stem plants if you steep them in a glass of water on the window sill until they grow roots. They are then less likely to rot off at the bottom.
Optical
I actually bought a pack from waterplantz this week. Got much more then 30! I've attached a pic of the list of plants I got. By the sounds of things he always gives much more then 30 plants. Very good deal I reckon, would recommend. Arrived the day after he posted them too, so quite quick. Included a pic of them laid out on a tray, size of them was quite reasonable.
