Caryl Posted June 13, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2014 Depends on where you live. They are not suitable to be outside in colder areas (ie most of NZ). This one escaped from its enclosure somewhere. Have a look at Donna's turtle rescue page to see the terrible condition some of the recently found abandoned turtles were in when found in Christchurch and had to be euthanised.
