Duke
I have T5 tank with hood, should I take off the glass top to increase light ? Soft tank Also Should I clean the front glass with glass cleaner, I spray it on to a paper towel and then use it? Are dishwasher cleaned bowls OK to use in tank for water change? What about a backet used to wash the car, rinsed and used for water change? ..... I know some of the answers but are lazy... need to be told. calvin
I have a T5 unit on my tank and I have no top glass cover on my tank. Helps with heat issues.
Pies
I have 4 T5s on my tank without coverglass. There is little doubt that you will get better penetration from the lights without the use of coverglass. No coverglass will mean more evaporation though, but this helps with heat and allows the addition of more Kalkwasser which is all good Pie
