randomsam1001
Sorry for the bad photos, some of my blackline flying fox's scales are peeling, he is very fat and won't stop eating. could this be dropsy?
Adrienne
If it has a pinecone look looking from above then yes, dropsy. Doesnt look too fat to me yet but not sure how far away your photo was taken from.
randomsam1001
Hi Adrienne, dosn't look like a pinecone, what could it be?? Thanks, Sam
Adrienne
He is very possibly just a fat SAE. My one is massive. Its when they stop eating, that you should start worrying.
DoubleDutch
If it's dropsy it just won't eat or less than normal. I too think it's just fat / full. Try to feed less (skip a day once in a while) and variate as well. Greetz Aad
NoFishing
Mine grew so fast his skin couldn't keep up. It looked like his skin was starting to split... a bit like streatch marks. The marks went away after a while though when his skin caught up with the rest of him.
