I want to add some colour to the tank that is not blue/yellow. I really fancied flamebacks but HFF say they don't/can't get them. Guest Posted November 14, 2012 Report Share Posted November 14, 2012 I would setup a individual tank for your dems and yellow when your dolphins/frontosa grows bigger. But if your dolphins/frontosa still teenage you certainly can mix them with malawis. Im doing that in my tank as well At this stage GOOD QUALITY Red Zebra and red empress can both add bit red color to your tank. Some other option may cost more will be high quality peacocks, German import ruby red, dragon blood.... But for the long run when dolphins/frontosa grow to 15CM plus you may consider have a tank for big fish and other tank for small size fish such as malawis. Big fish can go with dolphins/frontosa with a bit red color are Red kadango or red empress. I have both but personally I like red empress much more.
