Bristlenose would be the standard suggestion, though they're an ancistrus not a pleco. Common plecs, redspots, goldspots etc are too big for that small tank. For the most part they don't eat plants either, but will quite happily swim through and uproot them.

Ira
so bristlenose wouldnt uproot my plants of destroy them in any way? Nope, not usually. Especially not something as indestructable as java fern and moss. Nothing eats that.
F15hguy
also there is a heap of whiptails that do well in planted tanks,
KrazyGeoff
Any of the Peckoltia species would be good, L140, L134 etc Any of the small panaque would be good, L002, L204 Any of the Ancistrus would be good. There are quite a few choices in NZ. In a nice planted tank a large long fin bristlenose would look kinda cool. Cheers
