izone2240
RULES 1.Find the nicest guppy you can make that two preferably of the same strain and don't show anyone 2.when she's about to drop her next load of fry seperate her 3.grow up.the fry for 5 days then post on the forum how many have made it and are healthy you could also post the tail type I'll put a chart right about here 4.say e.g 10 made it that far the first 10 people to post get one of the fry to ease up then they pm you to set up picking up at some stage (make sure the adults are hidden out of sight) 5.you now have 6-8 weeks to rase this fish the best you can keeping Mr/miss fishy then post up a pic of it at that age best looking fish wins and the fun part is the surprise of raseing it not knowing what it's going to be 6.the winner now starts again with a different strain What does everyone think of it ? Adrienne
If they do that and give away too many fry then they may not be able to register the breeding with the FNZAS - you need a minimum of 10 fry to survive to 30 days and show the parents to qualify for a breeding certificate. For fish like guppy its a good idea to do so as it is becoming harder to import them due to risk of disease. By registering the breeding it is recorded proof that they are here legally.
