Snowman
I've just picked up a black angel fish, got it home & have just noticed what looks like a white spot on one eye, any ideas what it might be?
Jo1
Might be blind in that eye. Perhaps he got attacked by another fish?
Phillz
A pic might help?

Caryl
I copied and pasted the url to see the pic. Looks very round and bang in the centre doesn't it? Makes me discount injury. How does he swim? Same as others? Keeps veering to one side or anything? Seem to have difficulty seeing food on that side?
Ira
I've found furan II works well on cloudy eyes. Put him in a sick tank and treat him.
Snowman
It seems to swim fine , is giving my silver angel a hard time and only went in last night , it does seem to be blind on the right side.
Snowman
Would cloudy eye affect only 1 eye ?
Snowman
WooHoo success my pic worked LOL
Caryl
I thought cloudy eye covered the whole eye. Does it start with a small dot?
Ira
When one of my severums had it, yeah, it started out as a small white dot on both eyes and spread to cover the whole eye, as I was treating it, it shrunk to a small white dot inthe center of the eye. Then unfortunately I lost her because I was a bit careless.
Caryl
I have only seen pics in books where the whole eye was cloudy. Sounds like your suggestion for treatment is worth a try then.
Snowman
Only prob is i dont have a sick tank , looks like i gotta try to get one tommorrow, i can run air into it but will be a prob with no filter wont it ?

Snowman
Cool  How does 10% daily sound, considering i dont want to dilute the Furan to much, im lucky i've got some left over 4 caps i think so should be enough if i can find a small tank(40L)approx. Thanks Caryl,Ira,Phillz&Jo1
