zuri08
I just bought a wave maker from tm and through alot of waiting and no contact from seller i finally recieved it but plugged it in and waited for it to start pushing alot of water around as its 4000l/h.It doesnt push the water around at all i have a 750/lh powerhead in there and its doubling the output of the wave maker. My qeustion is.Is mine a dud or are wave makers generally not very powerful. Its a resun waver 4000 i bought it for more flow to keep crap off my white sand but obviously a waste of money
smidey
is the prop spinning? i have one that the prop jams and needs to be moved before it will spin. i would pull the cover off and have a look, maybe something in the shaft stopping it. They produce a very wide slow flow, rather than a tiny narrow high velocity. If you're wanting it to blow debris off the sand you might be better off moving the 750lph right next to the sand. zuri08
im just wanting it to clear the debris so the filter can catch it better.Basically this is a piece of?No point using it?better stick with the 750l/h waste of money unless i do a nano marine perhaps
