Jaide
I have an odd shaped corner tank, and my son, being a whiz with maths - worked out it's measurements as 0.243m3 or 243148.422cm3 - what is that in litres?

Jaide
Thanks Smidey I think for argument's sake I'll just round it up to 250 litres and leave it at that
Ira
I have an odd shaped corner tank, and my son, being a whiz with maths - worked out it's measurements as 0.243m3 or 243148.422cm3 - what is that in litres? 1000 liters per cubic meter or 1000 cubic centimeters per liter, do the math. It's 243 liters.
Squirt
1000 liters per cubic meter or 1000 cubic meters per liter, do the math. It's 243 liters. So in Iras logic 1000L=1m^3 or 1000m^3=1L? :sml1:

GrahamC
A cubic centimeter is known as a ml. There are by definition 1000 mls in a litre. So 243,148.422cm3 = 243,148.422 mls ~= 243 L. I'd suggest rounding it down to 240 instead of rounding up to 250L because you don't fill to the very top, and substrate etc take up volume.
