Ira
Are the uv aquarium purifiers worth the money and do they perform and do what they are advertised to do? They're sterilizers, not purifiers. They're only good if you have green water or a disease in the tank. Otherwise they're a waste of money.

Ira
...or disease? Any specific diseases or is it a blanket warrior towards all baddies? :smln: Pretty much, most all are waterborne. It's not going to totally eliminate them, you can't expose all the water to the UV at all times. It just makes it a bit less likely they'll spread.
