skuzza
The local has got a tree coral(dendronephthya).Looks like a christmas tree coral with amazing colour. It is red and orange. I want to get it but i read in a book that they feed heavy on phytoplankton and mostly starve to death in to new or to clean tanks.Any one else got one and keept it alive. lduncan
Are you sure that is what it is? If it is, don't waste your time. It will die.
wasp
I once had one, tried everything I could to keep it going. It struggled bravely for a few months, but eventually succumbed. There was a guy on Reef Central who had one for two years, and it had had a number of babies during that time which had also grown. He attributed it to his DSB and large number of critters. However the bad news is that someone with access to all the right gear ran a laboratory test to try to "crack the riddle" of how to keep them alive, and he could not. So wish you the best, but don't bet the ranch on it.
reef
I have found that they are not easy , but can be kept. Needs lots of current and feed it by stirring the sand below it every night, Coral food would also be useful.

skuzza
It is the same as the one on the salifert nitrate test kit box.
Ira
Hehe, I noticed that about an hour ago. Glanced at the boxes of test kits next to my computer. "HEY! That's the same one!"
