flatfish
Thanks. I assume these fish and the others ones posted are all from the same stock so what am I looking for in a 'good' Black-Bar hybrid? There are a number of pics on the internet and I wouldn't mind selecting for something better.
Ange_AJMS
Redwood wont import any more Endler-Hybrids by the sounds of it Even more important to keep the existing strains pure ... From what they told me, the ones I got were just mixed up in a batch of guppies, they weren't ordered specially. I will keep my eyes open when I visit them (like I don't already! lol). Flatfish if you bring any in I would be interested in getting some off you
JaSa
From what they told me, the ones I got were just mixed up in a batch of guppies, they weren't ordered specially. I will keep my eyes open when I visit them (like I don't already! lol). Emailed with the owner and she wrote back that they wont get them in anymore coz they are high risk (?) and haven't sold that good. They might chance their mind if more people ask for them... I know we are unlikely to get the real deal but I'd like some better quality fish.
JaSa
I have connections to pure strains (pure breed from wild caught fish) in the USA, Germany, France, Austria and Norway who will send them even for free (!) to me - but I can't find a transshipper / Quarantain facility here in NZ that will acceppt them. If someone sorts out the quarantine then there would be no shortage ... JaSa
flatfish
Hopefully someone here might have the right contacts. The real deal would be fantastic but I'd happily settle for some decent quality 'black-bars' or 'tigers'.
