Hi,

Does anyone know why my corydoras have red gills?, have tested ammonia which is zero and dont know what else would cause this, the tank is a aqua one aqua start 500 about 80L, and is running a cf1000 filter.

Does anyone know why they have red gills?

Thanks

Definitely some sort of irritation. Ammonia would have been my first guess too. Are they flashing on stuff? Could be worms?

Yeah that was my first guess also, havnt been flashing, but have only just been added to the tank so could just be adjusting to the water??

Uh, if they've just been added I can almost guarantee it's pH. Lots of cories are really sensitive to pH changes.
