henward
just got flowerhorns a little over a month ago, size was about 1 to 1.5 inch max. after just under 2 months, they have grownt to about 3 inches. one is clearly a male, the other i suspect is a female. this mornign i saw the female start to get 'lines' on its body and the 2 bigges tones, male and fem is courting, and dug a next in the corner of the tank!!! is it possible for such small FH to breed? lol its crazy. Fruju
will be some quality fh strain i think. Shouldn't split them.
henward
i have seen fh breed before. and the male gets extremely violent. this male isnt, probably due to size. its still quite small. definitely courting, the female has changed colour, they stick together. but no sign of eggs or no sign on female that just layed eggs. maybe just premature hormonal triggers? lol we shall see. but at least i know that i have a pair! happens to be the 2 biggest ones and best coloured ones, lucky! early days yet, not really sure if i want to breed. I have no other tank. if they breed, the male gets angry and cannot mix it with my red arowana. so dont think breeding them is a good idea anyhow
