evilknieval69
Hey, just wondering if anyone had purchased anything from fish-street.com before?? Looking at getting a bulb for my metal halide off them, seems too good to be true at only 14bucks a piece plus 8 odd dollars shipping, considering places in nz want 130 for them!! Also wondering if there's any hidden taxes I might encounter? Cheers!
antwan
Yo, I use them all the time, so do many others here. They're awesome and quick with postage too. They label them as a gift so there's no hidden taxes or anything.
evilknieval69
Siiiick!! There's heaps of cool cheap stuff on there I'm keen to get! Thanks man!
MarkLB
Yeah, go for it. I remember a time when I placed an order with fishstreet and a TM dealer in Auckland on the same day and the fishstreet order arrived first :rotf:
antwan
haha mark! Just make sure with any electronics you get that it's 240V, otherwise you need an expensive transformer. You can then (with the 240V stuff) either get an adaptor or change the plug for a NZ one. I do love that site though, have lots of little wavemakers, bulbs etc from it. spoon
ive purchased stuff from them a bit sometimes the currency conversion isnt up to date and it can work out considerably cheaper to pay in us dollar on there instead of nzd and let paypal do the conversion. also as markLB said shipping is fast although that depends on customs here to a certain degree ive had stuff turn up in 5days
Joe
I got a 150w HQI bulb from Fish-Street. $20.00 NZD incl. postage  It arrived super fast. And I have had no problems with the bulb at all.

roger
Fast, cheap and they put the value of your item really cheap on the outside of the box so you don't get pinged for GST or duty Go for it!
David R
I got a tds meter and a few other bits and they arrived rattling round in a big box with a single sheet of bubble wrap. Not well packaged but cheap, I'm not sure if bulbs are something you want to go cheap with tho.
