The tank is currently sitting at 25c on the hotside (in the morning) so will be getting a heat emitter to push it up to 30-35c..then ill be ready for the little dragon.. ally07
hope so going to buy the heat bulb on Wednesday dragon gets dropped of 30th If the heat bulb ends up heating up the tank too much, the simple/ best solution is to get a socket timer. When I first installed my bulb, the basking spot reached about 50 deg C within about 5 minutes. Henward saved me a lot of trouble by recommending the socket timer set to 15min intervals. So I have it on 15 minutes on/ 15 minutes off and that keeps him very happy.
alanmin4304
A thermostat will keep it about a degree each side of what you set it for.
