Fmxmatt Posted March 15, 2012 Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 Approx 10 year old Male Cockatiel named Trunks. Purchased 10 years ago as a bird my mum would take to school for the kids. Now with all of us moved out and mum no longer teaching, he's not getting the attention he needs. He's a bit special, quirky, and rather noisey. Loves attention (which he's not getting alot of anymore unfortunately), and I have had him out of the cage a few times. Hates being handled but once he's on ya shoulder or finger he's quite happy. He does talk a little too (Trunks is a good boy, Whatcha doin?, *wolf whistle*). He's still very trainable. Really needs someone who will spend time with him, talk to him, and give him his marmite on toast every morning. Has probably got another 5 - 10 years left in him, would be nice to know he's spending them well. Could possibly be a candidate for an aivary? I would've taken him myself but the Wife isn't very fond of him. Pickup in Christchurch to a suitable new home.
