CodKing
This tough: Had one jump out of my desk tank, land on the floor, get totally covered in fluff and lost for about 5 mins. Picked him up, washed him off. He's swimming relatively happily now We'll see how he is in the morning but I'm very surprised he's still going for it! What a tough guy! :nfs:
ally07
I once had a female siamese fighter jump out of the tank while I was out. Came back a few hours later, found her in a corner of the room, dried up, no movement. I thought, what the hey, I've got nothing to lose. Dropped her in the tank - CAME ALIVE after 2 minutes!! Freaked me out to be honest hahaha. Unfortunately, she died the next day. But, yeah, never underestimate the survival power of fish!
Squirt
I had danios in a bucket when going from my original tank (130L?) to the second tank and noticed that one had jumped out while shifting and cleaning. Was fine  Also Squirtle went walk abouts outside for 3 days in the rain during winter (lucky it was during the holidays so I could look for him) and he's fine Moral of the story: always keep a close eye on the pets.
karina
I've had a female fighter often jump when the lid was lifted on the tank 3 times she made it out and hit the floor. Everytime was picked up and put back in and was fine. My mum now has this tank and fish and was pre warned! What is it about the fighters? :-? Ice222
I had a female fighter jump too (must be something about those females), I thought she was dead, since she was completely still when I picked her up and covered in dust/fluff. I had been out all day so she could've been out of the tank for hours for all I know, but I saw the tiniest movement from her so I plopped her back in the tank. She lived a few months after that ordeal too before dying to some other illness.
