So about a year and a bit ago I got my 6ft tank put in my room; it's not a solid floor but we thought the weight was evenly spread across the joists. Turns out there was water damage on the plyboard/chipboard floor base, this started becoming apparent when the tank started sinking into the floor :digH:

So had to relocate all my fish to henwards place (SHOUT OUT TO HENWARD), then hired some guys this morning to move the tank while I was at uni.

WELL WORTH IT. Tank is safely moved and on a SOLID FLOOR. With over a tonne of weight when filled up it is critical that it is put on a stable base. Also, the benefit of a lino/tile floor is unmatched.

Hopefully the transition of all the fish back in will go smoothly, fingers crossed!

We learn through mistakes after all.
