Sophia
I'm not sure ham is the best thing to feed fish, it has various chemicals and preserving nitrates in it. Maybe other meat that isn't preserved would be better :dunno:
zuri08
as long as your not giving it them all the time its fine i do the same and i give them chicken salami luncheon they love it no after effects as long as its in moderation
ally07
I think that raw pork/ chicken/ beef (in moderation) would be better for them than processed meats. Beefheart can be quite lean if the fat is removed, and is high in protein - probably a better option than ham, IMO.

henward
any cooked meat i dont recommend for eels. espcially cooked seafood, they become tough and hard to digest when cooked. just my experience
Reptile
From a nutrition aspect, I'd say try and get him to eat proper carnivor sinking pellets. But otherwise I'd just reccomend feeding him raw shrimp, maybe soaked in Nourish or something. BUT make sure you chop the pieces small and feed them slowly!!!! I had a beutiful 30cm who choked to death in front of me because of scoffing to much down at once...
