aquariumbeginner32
For those with Mollies... do you put salt in the tank? When I bought mine it mentioned salt on the little tag on the tank. So I've been using it.
mcmillanm
I never have as my scaleless fish (loaches & Corys) don't like salt. If ever they are under the weather I give them a salt bath though. On saying that when I bought mine 18 months ago there was no sign about needing salt... Caryl
Some types of mollys originated in areas where the sea tide came in and out and their habitat varies from fresh to saltwater and everything in between. Mollys sold in your lfs may never have experienced any salt at all in their lives. Have a read of this
aquariumbeginner32
Thanks for that  I will discontinue using the salt. Whatever I can do to save some money will be good. I've also cut down on how much bloodworms I give my fish as I thought it was a once daily thing but apparently it's a once a week food. So I'm going to save a bit of money.
